The Healthy Habits Approach
Stretch
Learning how to stay flexible and mobile is central to an active mid-life. As a PureStretch Pro Instructor and hybrid training into my 50's I am a firm believer in regular, well programmed, stretching routines to keep you mobile and flexible. Book a class below!
Run
You don't have to run to stay fit but you do need to get your heart rate up regularly. Running has been an important part of my own fitness journey and I love helping people improve their technique to help avoid injury and stay on those trails for longer!
Lift
Being strong helps us to age well. Maintaining and building muscle in mid-life is extremely protective of health, helping your body fend off a host of degenerative conditions.
It is never too late to learn how to lift weights and I am on a mission to demystify the gym for women in their mid-life. Let's take up some space and shift some iron!
Eat
You don't need to be on a 'diet'
Let's just simplify nutrition and eat well to fuel our bodies and feel good.
As a teacher by genetic destiny (lol), I would love to help you understand the basic principles of nutrition for yourself so that you can ignore fads, trends and internet fear mongering with confidence.
